From crafting engaging newsletters and managing digital content, to curating visual displays around the school and providing a welcoming presence on reception — you will help shape how our school is seen, both within our community and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Communications & Marketing Support the creation, editing, and distribution of internal and external communications, newsletters, and announcements. Assist with the design and layout of marketing materials, presentations, and publications using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva. Update and maintain school website content and social media posts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the school’s tone and brand identity. Contribute to the planning and promotion of school events, open days, and community engagement activities. Ensure brand consistency across all digital and printed materials. Visual Merchandising & Presentation Design, install, and maintain professional and engaging visual displays throughout the school, celebrating student achievement and promoting key initiatives. Collaborate with staff to create impactful presentations and noticeboard materials that reflect the school’s ethos and values. Maintain high presentation standards in communal areas and reception spaces. Administrative & Reception Support Provide administrative support to the Finance and Communications teams, including data entry, document preparation, and correspondence. Assist with general office tasks such as handling calls, emails, and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Support the smooth running of reception during busy periods — greeting visitors, managing appointments, and providing excellent customer service. Help coordinate meetings, staff briefings, and internal communications across departments. Maintain organised records and contribute to the efficient flow of information within the school office. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in communications, marketing, visual merchandising, or administrative roles — ideally within a school or educational setting. A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills. Strong creative eye and ability to produce professional, visually appealing materials. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
