Adults Learning Disability Support Worker

We are actively seeking experienced Adults Learning Disability Support Workers to work within a service in Pontypridd. The service provides supported living for adults aged 18 and upwards with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments. You will assist residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible.
Overview:
* Title: Adults Learning Disability Support Worker

* Job Type: Flexible agency work, block bookings, and potential permanent contracts available.
* Shifts: Flexible pattern, including 10-hour, 12-hour, and 8-hour shifts, days, nights, and sleep shifts. Choose your preferred hours and dates.

The role:
As an adult learning Disability Support Worker, you will provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs. This includes observing, monitoring, and recording patient conditions, and treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty. You will support their progression through a care pathway to promote independence, working alongside a team of multi-professionals.
The candidate:
To be successful as an Adults Learning Disability Support Worker, you should:
* Have a desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
* Be empathetic, caring, and resilient
* Have at least 6 months of experience in a social care setting
* Hold a UK Driving License
* Possess a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
* Have the right to work in the UK
