We’ve got an incredible opportunity for a Property Management Assistant to join our regional team on the stunning Isle of Arran. This part-time, temporary role offers the chance to live and work in one of the UK’s most beautiful destinations — supporting homeowners and helping guests enjoy unforgettable holidays.
You’ll play a key part in delivering our fully managed service, taking care of everything from cleaning and maintenance to guest check-ins and beyond. We handle all the details so our homeowners can relax, and our guests can make the most of their stay.
Please note: The successful candidate must be permanently based on the Isle of Arran. We welcome applicants interested in relocating to the island; however, relocation costs are not covered.
The Role & Responsibilities
* Manage and co-ordinate maintenance and cleanliness jobs for around 50 properties
* Communicate within the team on all maintenance, cleaning and property management issues
* Liaise with owners on all jobs and issues relating to the property and liaise with and organise contractors on jobs to ensure all maintenance is up to date.
* Responsible for the co-ordination and completion of the annual maintenance tasks - property safety audits, boiler servicing and Landlords Gas Safety Certificates. Ensure these are carried out in the time frame required working alongside the owners where necessary
* Responsible for the monthly check on oil and gas levels for properties and arrange delivery where necessary
* Carry out quality check houses for general standard and upkeep and housekeeping standards
* Assist with carrying out the weekly property checks for Property check only houses and assist with the fortnightly winter checks on our managed properties (Nov – March)
* Assist in taking calls and dealing with email enquiries, with a high level of customer service
* Deal efficiently with customer concerns/complaints, liaising with owners where necessary
* Assist with weekly guest preparation where required – collating arrival information
* Completion of internal and third party invoicing

What else do you need to know?
This role is temporary (6-9 months) and 15 hours per week (over 2 days), paid at £12.94 per hour. The successful candidate will need to hold a full UK driving licence, and be permanently located on the Isle of Arran.
