We are looking for a Design Technician - a highly creative, ambitious individual who wants to develop their career in luxury kitchen and interior design. Based in our Edinburgh or Tillicoultry showrooms, the successful applicant will work closely with our team of Designers to create exceptional bespoke kitchens and interiors, working with some of the most prestigious brands and products in the industry.
Responsibilities
This role is perfectly suited to a highly creative, detail-driven individual with a passion for interior, architectural or spatial design. The Design Technician will support the Design team by greeting clients and assisting in consultations, capturing detailed briefs and contributing to client presentations. The role involves developing creative layout concepts and producing high-quality 3D visuals using CAD, while refining designs in response to feedback and site requirements. You will prepare accurate plans, elevations and technical service drawings to ensure designs are deliverable, compliant and ready for ordering and installation.
About You

* Recently completed (or due to complete) a professional qualification in: Interior, spatial, architectural design or related discipline.
* Strong spatial awareness and 3D visualisation skills.
* Natural flair for interior and spatial design.
* Good understanding of proportion, balance, and materials.
* Ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
* Competency in CAD software (Winner desirable; training provided where required).
* Proven ability to manage client projects from concept to completion.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and architectural plans.
* Placement or internship experience within a design practice or showroom.
* Experience using CAD software.
