Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and professional service.
* Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision.
* Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and sanitising surfaces regularly.
* Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Follow food safety guidelines at all times to ensure hygiene standards are met.
* Assist in food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is preferred.
* Experience in serving customers and handling cash transactions is advantageous.
* Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
* Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail.
* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours.
* Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
