Management Accountant
£34,000 - £40,000, 10% Annual Bonus with Progression to Senior Leadership, Life Insurance, Hybrid Working including 25 Days Holiday, Career Progression, Proffesional Development.
Commutable from Paignton, Torquay, Brixham, Newton Abbot and surrounding areas.
A fantastic opportunity to join a progressive Global; Business as a Management Accountant. The company is located in two continents and has been the leading provider for bathroom fittings for over 100 years.
Job Duties:
1. Preparing monthly management accounts
2. Conducting variance analysis and providing financial reports
3. Budgeting and forecasting
4. Assisting with year-end audit processes
5. Overseeing financial transactions and monitoring financial performance
6. Providing financial advice to management
7. Supporting financial decision-making
8. Developing financial strategy, stablishing and analysing key performance.
9. Control of key accruals and prepayments arising from individual departments around the business
10. Payroll
11. Manage the monthly finance reviews & preparation of the quarterly, yearly forecasts and reports
Required Qualifications:
12. A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Demonstrated experience in management accounting
13. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Knowledge and Skills:
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
15. Proficiency in MS Excel, Sage and SAP is preferred
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
