We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring team resources, including equipment, consumables, and materials, as well as updating and developing computer and other recording systems. This role also involves providing comprehensive business support within the team, including finance-related tasks.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Support the team and manager in maintaining the effective operation of work streams.
* Organise the team to ensure that all enquiries, complaints, and contributions to Freedom of Information requests are resolved promptly in accordance with performance criteria.
* Oversee the maintenance and development of office administration systems, including basic IT support, raising orders, invoicing, keeping track of deliveries and stock levels.
* Handle financial transactions on behalf of parks team.
* Co-ordinate the provision of information to ensure monitoring of performance against targets and indicators.
* Developing and maintaining spreadsheets, databases and other IT systems as required
* Guide the team to enhance productivity and implement innovative solutions.
What do you need to have?
* NVQ Level 2 Award, in Business Administration or equivalent experience
* An understanding of grounds maintenance and asset management
* Ability to prioritise workloads and work efficiently on your own initiative
* Understanding of appropriate legislation and financial systems to support operational procedures
* Excellent communication skills and understanding of customer care
