Reablement Support Worker 8728 | Permanent contract | £21,407 to £22,817 per annum (Scale E) | 30 hours per week | Elizabeth House, Dereham. Working pattern over two weeks including weekends and bank holidays.
About the role
Here at Norfolk First Response we work with a reablement ethos, working alongside people in their homes to make a positive difference. We aim to help them regain their previous abilities within 6 weeks following a period of ill health or change in circumstances and our Support Workers (Reablement) are a key part of that. Find out more about a day in the life of a Support Worker (Reablement) here. The vacant post is 30 hours per week, working in the Wymondham and surrounding areas. You will work a range of mornings (7.30am to 1.30pm) and evenings (4pm to 8.30pm) with the hours averaged out over a two-week rota, enabling you to plan in advance to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
You need to be caring, empathetic and committed to making a difference to people’s lives with the ability to easily commute to people’s homes in South Norfolk so will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. However, you do not need previous experience as full training will be given.
