<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>CMS is looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our Legal Services Unit and support the UK Real Estate team. The position will be based in Sheffield, Manchester or Liverpool.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage a busy caseload of transactions, including short‑term leases, licences to occupy, licences to assign, licences for alterations, surrenders, deeds of variation/easement and rent reviews.</li><li>Handle straightforward purchases and sales (auction sales, residential plot sales) and support larger, complex, or portfolio transactions, covering project management, title and tenancy diligence, and completion preparation.</li><li>Carry out title and occupational lease review exercises and assist with preparing reports and certificates of title.</li><li>Assist with file opening procedures, drafting first retainer letters and ensuring compliance with money‑laundering regulations.</li><li>Set up and manage data rooms.</li><li>Support completion and post‑completion registrations, forms, filing and client signing/reporting requirements.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Strong academic background: degree in law or equivalent preferred (not essential).
