Job Title: Supplier Quality Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to oversee the Supplier Quality Assurance activities in a dynamic environment. The role involves leading the supplier quality strategy, working closely with procurement, and ensuring the delivery of conforming products on schedule.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the supplier Quality Assurance function.
2. Manage supply chain activities, including process audits, surveillance visits, and PPAP activities.
3. Support the creation of an integrated supply solution and a top-tier supply chain.
4. Identify potential partners and critical suppliers.
5. Develop and implement supplier assessment and onboarding processes.
6. Handle non-conforming product incidents, root cause analysis, and problem resolution using techniques like 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa.
7. Manage supplier concerns, verification, and corrective actions.
8. Develop and monitor supplier performance systems for continuous improvement.
9. Collaborate with procurement to improve supplier performance.
10. Support policies and processes for supplier onboarding and supply chain refinement.
11. Conduct quality performance reviews and learning activities.
12. Act as the primary contact for Supplier Quality issues.
13. Support technical reviews internally and with customers.
14. Define and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
Qualifications:
1. Engineering qualification (HNC/D, Degree, or apprenticeship) with experience in Supplier Quality, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or related industries. Experience with vehicle electrification is advantageous.
2. ISO9001 internal auditor qualification; experience with ISO/TS16949 is preferred.
3. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS.
4. Strong communication skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
5. Leadership experience in building and developing teams within Supplier Quality.
