We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify faults and malfunctions.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the workshop or on-site.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical systems.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
* Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders is essential.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
