This is a static post within the Liverpool Community Neuro Rehab Team, a specialist Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy team working together to provide intervention to adults (18+) in community settings. The team aims to deliver holistic, patient-centred, evidence-based therapy interventions to maximise patient independence.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Manage a caseload of patients with neurological diagnoses and complex co-morbidities, using evidence-based, patient-centred assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of interventions.
2. Provide leadership to junior staff through supervision and appraisal.
3. Participate in planning, development, and evaluation of services, including responsibility for service improvement projects.
4. Take a holistic approach in patient assessment and treatment, ensuring high-quality therapy and care using appropriate models of care and evidence-based practice.
