Role Information The school is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Manager to oversee the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of school-wide data. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining and developing the school’s Management Information System (SIMS/Arbor/ISAMS) Producing regular data reports for senior leadership, heads of department, and governors Managing assessment cycles, data drops, progress tracking, and academic monitoring Ensuring compliance with GDPR and secure handling of sensitive student data Supporting teachers with the use of data tools and reports Overseeing census returns and statutory data submissions Creating dashboards, analytics, and performance visualisations Ensuring accuracy of student, timetable, and attendance records Troubleshooting MIS issues and liaising with external technical support Training staff in MIS usage and data entry standards This role requires a proactive mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
