Description
The Accounts Assistant role is initially a 6-month contract, which may be extended. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the Didsbury office and 2 days remote. Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities include:
1. Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash flow management activities.
2. Processing invoices and preparing payment runs for accounts payable.
3. Reconciliation of supplier statements and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
4. Supporting month-end processes, including the preparation of financial reports.
5. Maintaining accurate accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
6. Handling queries from internal and external stakeholders professionally.
Profile
To be suitable for this role, candidates should:
1. Have previous experience in bank reconciliations and ideally accounts payable.
2. Be open to a fixed-term contract initially.
3. Be able to commute to the Didsbury office in Manchester three days a week.
