Maintenance Engineer Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm 38k+ Macclesfield/ Stockport We are excited to present a Maintenance Engineer to join a highly experienced team at our client's site in Macclesfield. The role focuses on performing planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks across a wide variety of machinery, ensuring optimal performance of the plant in line with health, safety, and quality standards, while driving improvements across the site. Respond quickly to unscheduled plant stoppages to minimize downtime. Utilise system for recording labour, materials, and performing planned maintenance tasks. Safely and efficiently repair plant equipment and services Participate in maintaining the overall efficiency of the maintenance department, including tool management, housekeeping, and spare parts control Work within budget guidelines and seek cost-reduction opportunities Identify and pursue personal development and training opportunities Share and implement best practices within a process driven industry. Skills/Experience Required A recognized engineering apprenticeship and formal electrical qualification such as 18th edition. Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an industrial/ manufacturing industry. Experience with industrial 3-phase motor control systems and PLCs. (Electrical bias) This role provides the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of a vital production facility.
