Job Description
Contribute to the effective delivery of Housing and Communities Service to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value. This role involves completing a Housing SCQF Level 6 qualification.

Requirements
The duties of the post involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of regulated work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update. No formal offer of employment will be made until this is completed.
PVG records are continuously updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
Applicants must be residents of East Ayrshire, aged between 16-24, or up to age 29 if care experienced or disabled. The pay rate is £10.00 per hour for ages 16-20, £12.21 for ages 21-24, and £12.60 for 25+.
