Our client, is currently seeking a Bridge Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves supporting the Principal/Technical Lead with various structural tasks. The position is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced structures engineer or a junior engineer looking to grow and expand their knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Scoping work and determining project requirements
Checking and reviewing design submissions for structural integrity
Assisting with audits to ensure compliance with regulations
Answering construction technical queries (TQs)
Collaborating closely with the Principal/Technical Lead and other team members
Ensuring all tasks meet the necessary safety and quality standards
Job Requirements:
Experience in structural engineering, particularly within bridge and highway projects
Strong understanding of structural design principles and methodologies
Ability to evaluate and review technical design submissions
Proficiency in addressing and resolving technical queries
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification is desirable
