Overview
Warehouse Operative/Reach Truck Driver – Menzies Distribution Solutions are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives with a Reach Truck Licence to join our team in Scunthorpe. The role provides accurate and prompt picking, putting away of inbound and outbound pallets, and tipping and loading of depot warehouse goods. Tasks are performed safely, accurately and efficiently, upholding the highest standards of health and safety. Other duties help maintain the efficient operation of the warehouse.

* Salary: £29,930.71 Per Annum / £13.70 Per Hour
* Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Nights
* Hours: 22:00-06:00
* Hours Per Week: 42 Hours
* Full-time, permanent

Warehouse Operative duties
* Co-operate fully with the site 0s safety requirements
* Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
* Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations
* Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner
* Put away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking
* Manual handling of products
* Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed
* Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks
* Stock integrity and quality checks
* Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal
About you
* Good communication & team working skills
* Experience operating within a warehouse environment
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* A professional manner
* MHE – Reach Licence is required, PPT & LLOP licenses preferable
