What You’ll Do
* Set up, configure, and rigorously test prototype devices, advanced audio equipment, and precision motion capture systems.
* Manage and maintain complex device networks, including the configuration of switches and essential infrastructure.
* Perform multimodal data collections using intricate capture systems within controlled research environments.
* Debug and swiftly resolve technical challenges, from localized issues to those spanning entire system architectures.
* Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of hardware and software systems, enhancing the efficiency of data collections.
Must‑Have Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
* Industry experience working with integrated systems composed of hardware, firmware, and software.
* Experience with Python, scripting, networking, and Linux administration.
* Proven experience with systems integration, comprehensive testing, and automated validation processes.
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
* Experience with advanced networking concepts, protocols, and device configuration.
* Familiarity with motion tracking systems.
* Experience with large‑scale automated data collection and analysis.
* Proficiency in configuring and managing network switches and complex device networks.
* Experience working with audio equipment or digital audio data.
* Experience with prototype hardware devices and command‑line tools like adb.
* Experience with automation of configuration management and deployment strategies.
