Looking to advance your career in the automotive industry? Our well-established client in Maidenhead is hiring a dedicated Parts Advisor. This role offers up to £28,000, a 45-hour week Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work when needed. A great opportunity to develop your skills in a professional environment.
As a key member of the team, you’ll handle parts sales, support customers in-branch and externally, and build strong relationships. Whether you have automotive experience or are a motivated trainee with IT skills and an interest in cars, your enthusiasm is welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promptly respond to customer and internal parts requests with courtesy
2. Provide advice and support to customers and colleagues
3. Assist with parts sales, promotions, and handle phone and email enquiries
4. Report stock damage or losses immediately
5. Maintain a clean, organised work area in line with Health and Safety standards
Key Skills & Nice to Have Skills:
6. Previous automotive parts experience advantageous
7. Strong organisational and administrative skills
8. Excellent telephone manner and customer service
9. IT proficiency and interest in automotive
10. Full, clean driving licence
11. Physically capable of handling parts (DL preferred)
12. Enthusiasm for learning and developing within the automotive sector
13. Certifications in automotive or parts management a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
14. Experience in a parts department or automotive environment preferred but not necessary for trainees or eager learners
