Role & Responsibilities
You will provide vital one-on-one and small-group support to students with diverse special educational needs. Working closely with teachers, you\'ll implement individual learning plans, helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. You\'ll be a key part of creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, contributing to a thriving learning environment.
Main tasks include
* Provide individualised and small-group support to students with SEN.
* Collaborate with teachers to implement and adapt individual learning plans.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Assist with lesson preparation and materials.
* Track student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.
* Mentor and guide students, celebrating their achievements.
Requirements
* At least six months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school setting.
* A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
* Relevant qualifications in education (preferred).
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Commitment to inclusive education practices.
* Passion for supporting students to reach their full potential.
