Job Title: Governance Analyst Job Description This role requires an individual to manage contracts and financials within a specific tower of the IT function. The successful candidate will analyse and keep track of various contracts and deployments within this tower, monitoring expiry dates and renewals. The role involves collaborating with managers to understand spending, forecasting, and budgeting, and liaising with suppliers to explore discounts on contract extensions. Although IT experience is not necessary, excellent skills in Excel, analytics, and stakeholder management are essential. Responsibilities Monitor IT budgets, forecasts, and actuals to ensure accuracy and compliance. Provide actionable insights through cost analysis and financial modelling. Maintain end-to-end oversight of IT supplier contracts, including renewals and compliance. Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure adherence to frameworks. Raise purchase orders (POs) and process receipts to support timely payments and accurate financial tracking. Develop dashboards and reporting tools for IT spend and performance metrics. Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources for accuracy. Build and maintain digital tools (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate) to streamline governance processes. Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Prepare and present financial and operational reports for IT leadership. Monitor KPIs and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
