Hammer & Die Repair Person
PRIMARY DUTIES include, but are not limited to:
* Repair and prepare forging hammers, press dies, and other wearable components for use in Carpenter's forging equipment, using welding/cutting, heat treating, milling, and grinding equipment.
* Operate mobile equipment (forklifts, vehicles).
* Operate overhead cranes (remote and pendant).
* Operate furnaces.
* Operate MIG welders and Carbon/Air Arc.
* Operate miscellaneous grinders and pneumatic tools.
* Utilize hand tools to assemble components.
* Utilize required Shop Floor screens.
* Operate in a safe manner and observe safety rules and guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Graduation from a technical training school with an emphasis on Welding or 2 years relevant experience within the last 10 years.
* Supportive of Manufacturing & Maintenance goals.
* Valid Driver's License.
* Willingness to upgrade knowledge and skills as new technology and methods are introduced, including attending training schools.
* Availability to rotate shifts and work overtime, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
