Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team alongside our chef owner in preparing delicious and high-quality dishes. The successful candidate will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional food standards.
Duties:
 * Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
 * Create innovative menus and recipes
 * Supervise kitchen staff in food production
 * Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
 * Manage inventory and control food costs
 * Train and develop kitchen team members
 * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
 * Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning and special events
Qualifications:
 * Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a busy restaurant environment
 * Proficient in all aspects of kitchen operations, including cooking, food production, and team management
 * Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
 * Understanding of food safety regulations
 * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
 * Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred
 * Passion for delivering high-quality dishes with attention to detail
