An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a forward-thinking primary school in Brent, starting on 1st September 2025.

The Role

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils across Years 3–6, particularly in booster sessions and targeted interventions

• Working one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning and close attainment gaps

• Assisting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including behaviour and emotional support

• Collaborating with the class teacher to prepare engaging activities and adapt resources

• Monitoring progress and contributing to pupil development plans

• You’ll be a vital part of the classroom team, helping to nurture confidence, curiosity, and resilience in learners.

Requirements
• We are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) who:

• Has prior experience supporting children in a primary school, especially in KS2

• Is confident delivering small-group or individual interventions

• Has a calm, patient and encouraging approach to learning

• Understands the needs of children with SEN and demonstrates flexibility and empathy

• Holds a relevant Level 2/3 TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
