Your role and responsibilities As part of the Northern Service Team provide 24/7 support on site for ABB QCS and DCS equipment. After initial ABB product training, you will be responsible to deliver the Service Agreement to: Preventative and Corrective maintenance on ABB QCS/DCS equipment, configuration, calibration, modification, cleaning and adjustment. Participate in a 1 week in 3 on Call Rota. Develop a strong working relationship with customer across production and engineering. Prepare and present reports following site visits and in additional a monthly report for allocated sites Provide High level field and in house technical support, including out of hours support Fulfil Service Agreement obligations, demonstrated by the use of ABB ServicePro and other reporting tools Provide application support and software troubleshooting to customers, on site and by remote dial in Advises clients as to maintenance procedures, evolution, site planning, operational methods, process measurement and control Flexibility to travel to sites anywhere in the UK for above activities in addition to primary areas of responsibility Prepare and write technical reports for internal and external use Promote sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advise Sales department of possible sales leads Assists Sales and Account management with preparation of quotations Commission equipment in the field as part of the project team Qualifications for the role Degree or HND in Electrical or Measurement & Control Engineering Clean Driving Licence (UK) Self-Motivated and able to work unsupervised Demonstrate excellent customer focus Good networking skills Results orientation Knowledge of Paper Industry - desirable Knowledge of ABB QCS or DCS systems - desirable Commercial awareness - desirable What's in it for you?
