Procurement and Supply Chain Systems and Data Manager

💼 Band 7 | Permanent | 37.5 hours/week
Overview:
A key leadership opportunity for a digital-savvy professional to manage and develop procurement systems, data flows, and business intelligence within a complex healthcare environment. You'll lead a small team, enhance digital capabilities, and support organisational improvements through technology and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead on systems management (e.g. Atamis, Ingenica 360, GHX, NEP, PAM)
2. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and data reports
3. Promote data quality and governance across procurement functions
4. Manage a small Systems & Data team (planning, delegation, performance)
5. Support digitisation and automation of procurement and supply chain processes
6. Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify needs and deliver insights
7. Oversee integration of inventory and procurement systems
Essential Skills & Experience:
8. Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Office
9. Experience managing procurement or digital systems in a complex organisation
10. Track record of delivering data-led projects and reporting solutions
11. Proven leadership and team management experience
12. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
13. Experience with NHS procurement systems and processes
14. Knowledge of Scan4Safety, inventory management, or strategic sourcing tools
