Protocol Education are working with a primary school in Watford who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join the school from Summer Term 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner to play a key role in children’s early learning and development. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a commitment to providing a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
The post is suitable for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for early years education.
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Demonstrate secure knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
* Have high expectations for children’s learning, behaviour, and wellbeing
* Plan and deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
* Use assessment effectively to support progress and inform next steps
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
* Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
