This group is responsible for delivering a range of world class leading innovative engineering designs and solutions for Wireline Systems and machinery to satisfy customers. Working under a Project Lead, you will be focused on customer's needs both internal and external. You should be keen to take on fresh challenges, develop your technical and interpersonal skills as well as expand your knowledge and experience through a variety of exciting projects. Crucial to this role will be your ability to contribute to continual improvement processes, enhancing efficiency and performance within your team and working in line with our business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To produce engineering designs and associated engineering documents (such as drawings, calculations, reports) and ensure they are completed within the required timescales To issue engineering documents as required To progress small engineering projects, as allocated by the Principal Engineer, or working as part of a larger team on larger projects. In both cases, the majority of work will be carried out under the guidance and supervision of the Principal Engineer or other assigned team member Project work, in addition to design, will include all aspects of the design process such as draughting and testing of products as well as other organisational tasks as deemed appropriate by the Principal Engineer in order to ensure timely progress of projects being worked on To remain constantly aware of targets and progress of projects being worked on and communicate with colleagues and line manager in relation to delays or changes in relation to work progress. To liaise with clients and suppliers as required To provide engineering support to all Elmar group companies QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ideally 2:1 or above), Masters Degree, or Mechanical Engineering to HND with relevant experience (or equivalent) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Ideally you will have experience in using AutoCAD and/or 3D CAD Ability to interpret hydraulic schematics
