Senior Project Quantity Surveyor – Clean Energy Generation
Leading project developer in renewable energy assets across the UK is seeking a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor. The role involves supporting project delivery, managing contracts from development through construction and handover, and overseeing high-value projects such as Energy Storage Assets, H2 Ready Thermal Power Plants, and Green Hydrogen Electrolysis Assets.
The ideal candidate will have experience in risk and value management, subcontractor performance, and quality control. A background in M&E, Renewables, O&G, Thermal power, or large-scale infrastructure is preferred.
Key Requirements
* Experience with various contract forms, especially NEC contracts (ECC accreditation preferred).
* Experience in heavy Civils/M&E/Energy projects within a main/principal contractor setting (desirable).
* Experience managing contracts over £10m (desirable).
Key Responsibilities
* Lead change management processes, maintain change control procedures, and manage risk registers.
* Prepare procurement documents, review work scopes, and negotiate contracts.
* Manage contractor payments, assess costs, and handle disallowed costs.
* Maintain cost reporting, including internal cost plans and earned value analysis.
* Provide commercial support and advice to site management.
* Foster professional working relationships.
