Location: Dumbarton Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time Hours : 37 hours per week (Day shift pattern) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a leading engineering team in Dumbarton. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality welding and fabrication work to engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including set-up and adjustment. Perform TIG, MAG, and MMA welding processes, meeting PT and RT testing standards. Pipe welding, fit-up, and orbitalum pipe preparation. Marking off, drilling, plasma burning, and de-burring operations. Crane operation, lifting, and safe handling of materials. Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data. Maintain equipment, tools, and housekeeping to high standards. Work flexibly across day and night shifts when required. Support wider team projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Experience: Recognised Welding/Fabrication apprenticeship. Strong operational knowledge of welding and fabrication equipment. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and data.
