Job summary The Simulation and Essential Clinical Skills Department is pleased to be able to offer the tariff funded post of Band 7 Clinical Skills and Simulation Manager. The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of the development and management of the Simulation and Clinical Skills Service on the Royal Sussex County and Princess Royal sites, providing a portfolio of simulation and clinical skills courses and educational programmes for internal and external clients, providing clinical teaching sessions in close liaison with course faculty and faculty leads. This will include the development and delivery of business plans concerning future activities within the Simulation and Clinical Skills department. The post holder will develop and deliver a programme of simulation and clinical skills teaching for all healthcare professionals. They will organise and deliver specialist teaching, in line with curriculum requirements, and contribute as faculty to medical, nursing, clinical and allied health professional simulation training. The post holder will have proven extensive acute clinical and educational simulation experience. There will be occasional cross trust working as service requirement demands.
