Electro-Mechanical Technician II – Weekend Nights

Overview
A leading manufacturing company in the consumer goods industry is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician II to support maintenance operations during weekend night shifts. This role is ideal for a technician with a background in electrical and mechanical systems who enjoys working hands-on in a dynamic production environment.
Work Schedule:
Weekend Nights: Friday–Sunday, 4:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m.
Compensation:
* Hourly Rate: $35.90 – $40.03/hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
* Shift Differential: $3.25/hour
* Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring
Key Responsibilities
* Design minor electrical circuits and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic systems used in industrial equipment
* Install and maintain electronic controls, interpreting blueprints and schematics
* Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Perform basic mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
* Monitor and test newly installed electrical equipment for safety and performance
* Interpret work instructions, sketches, and diagrams to complete tasks
* Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and support junior technicians
* Use CMMS systems to log maintenance activities and parts usage
Requirements
Required Qualifications
* Associate degree in a technical field
* 2–4 years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Ability to navigate CMMS software and computer-based part systems
* Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, including PLC systems
* Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and distribution systems (electrical and water)
* Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and lift at least 50 lbs
* Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
