Locality Manager – Supported Living Services


Location: Birmingham Supported Living

Salary: Up to £35,000 plus £1,800 Car Allowance

Midway Care Group is seeking an experienced Locality Manager to oversee our supported living service Birmingham. About The Role

About the Role:

As a Locality Manager, you will:

* Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for our supported living service.
* Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and maintain person-centred care plans that promote independence and choice.
* Recruit, train, and develop a passionate team to deliver exceptional care.
* Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and key stakeholders.
* Take on the responsibility of Registered Manager for the service.
* Expected to manage care hours over multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure safeguarding protocols and relevant legislation are adhered to.
* Drive continuous improvement and address service shortfalls proactively.
* Respond to new referrals, complete thorough assessments, and ensure service occupancy targets are met.
* Monitor staff performance, provide supervision, and support professional development.
* Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the service.

What We're Looking For:

* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* Proven experience managing supported living services or similar settings.
* Strong leadership skills with a proactive and compassionate approach.
* Comprehensive knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
* A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel as required.
