Finance Manager - Consumer Goods Location: Liverpool Duration: Interim 6 months Role: Finance Manager About the Role: Our client, a leading consumer goods business in Liverpool, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their finance team on an interim 6-month assignment. This role offers the opportunity to lead financial operations, drive reporting accuracy, and provide strategic insight to support business growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Monitor operational and product costs to ensure accurate profitability analysis. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial controls. Provide actionable financial insights to senior management and collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to drive performance. Candidate Requirements: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified with experience in finance management. Strong knowledge of management accounting, reporting, and commercial finance within the consumer goods sector. Experienced with ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, organised, and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced commercial environment.
