Job Role: Full Stack Engineer (React + Java)

About the Job you are considering:
We are looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer (React + Java) with strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of front-end (ReactJS), back-end (Java/Spring Boot), architecture with a passion for delivering seamless end-to-end user experiences and robust enterprise-grade solutions.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
1. Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using ReactJS and RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks)
2. Build reusable components and scalable front-end architectures
3. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into high-quality code
4. Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services
5. Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability
6. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
7. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
8. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
9. Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance
10. Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and frameworks
11. Implement business logic, data processing, and backend services
12. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability on the server side
13. Integrate with databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems
14. Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs
15. Optimize application performance across both front-end and back-end layers
16. Participate in system design discussions and contribute to solution architecture
Your Skills:
17. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
18. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
19. Hands-on experience with ReactJS, including Hooks, Components, and State Management
20. Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot / Spring MVC
21. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API
22. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
23. Experience with version control systems like Git
24. Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
25. Familiarity with modern build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite
26. Basic understanding of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
27. Knowledge of backend design patterns and API design principles
28. Experience with relational databases
29. Experience integrating with external services and APIs
30. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
31. Understanding of tools such as JIRA, GIT, Intellij IDEA, Gitlab and Docker
32. Pub/sub middleware experience (eg. Kafka, MQ)
33. Experience in cloud services such as Lamda, Step function and IAM
34. Experience in enterprise design patterns and web architectures
