About the role
The faculty of Construction are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Plastering Programme Leader to join the well-established Construction team. This is a fast paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders in providing high quality teaching to learners aged 16 plus, teaching Level 1 and 2 in Plastering.
Responsibilities
* Teaching, facilitating and tracking of learner progress.
* Assessment of learner progress against targeted achievement.
* Ensuring the provision of high-quality pastoral and supportive care of learners as part of the whole learner journey.
* Ensure the provision of highly effective guidance to learners to assist them through their programme and in their progression onto a positive destination, for example higher learning or employment.
* Maintain effective management of learners’ programmes, working with other teams as required ensuring a high quality, individualized offer.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service, as well as strong organisation and administrative skills. Candidates should also have:
* Level 3 or above qualification in plastering.
* Prior experience working in a construction environment.
* Experience of analysing data and writing reports.
* ICT competency.
