Totum Partners is working with a leading law firm to recruit a Legal Billing Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded firm and be part of a busy finance team. Hybrid 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
Location: Leeds, England, United Kingdom
Key Responsibilities
* Raise bills on PMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Process bills in line with firm policies within 48 hours.
* Ensure compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and VAT regulations.
* Handle time and disbursement transfers, write-offs, and client financial housekeeping.
* Liaise with lawyers, PAs, and finance teams to resolve billing queries.
* Monitor billing mailboxes and respond to requests promptly.
* Support revenue controllers with financial reporting and maintenance tasks.
Key Skills & Experience
* Experience in billing, within a law firm.
* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
