Our client is looking for an experienced Elderly Care Professional to join their team. You may be an experienced Senior Care Assistant looking to progress or an existing Assistant Manager seeking a new challenge.
The successful candidate will be required to work every other weekend and alternate weeks, with two days off during the week when working weekends.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager and Deputy Manager in running the home efficiently and with care.
* Supervise staff.
* Work directly in care on a day-to-day basis.
* Be directly responsible to the Home Manager or their representative for all duties performed, according to the employment contract.
* Ensure the home operates to high standards, meeting requirements of the proprietors, Local Authority, Social Services, and Fire Prevention Officer.
* Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining staff training.
* Manage the medication system, including ordering, recording, administration, and disposal.
* Help maintain adequate staffing levels and appropriate staff mix.
Qualifications & Experience
* Must hold at least NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
* Experience in dementia care.
