Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting both engineers and customers with their parts needs, ensuring they receive the right components for their vehicles. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ideally experienced in this line of work or possessing similar transferable skills.
At Spinney, our Parts Advisors are responsible for the stock control of a wide range of leisure vehicle parts and accessories. This includes the ordering, selling and managing of stock to ensure that we meet the needs of our customers and to guarantee that our workshop team have the parts and accessories that they need to complete their daily tasks.
Duties
* Taking orders from customers both face to face and over the phone.
* Stock control of all parts and accessories.
* Maintaining an ordered stock room.
* Serving customers at the counter and over the phone and raising invoices for parts sold.
* Liaising with both our sales and service teams to ensure the correct stock is placed at the right time.
* Assisting with the front service desk as and when required.
* Booking in and out stock as necessary.
* Any other ad hoc duties as and when required.
Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 plus Saturday mornings on a department rota.
Salary dependent on experience.
