Experience required…
Essential:
8. UK experience within a public, private or third sector engineering environment.
9. Exposure to bridge or highway structures through design, assessment, inspection or maintenance.
10. Experience undertaking structural analysis and preparing calculations with support from senior staff.
11. Understanding of DMRB, Eurocodes and/or relevant British Standards.
12. Experience preparing or contributing to technical reports.
13. Familiarity with producing drawings, specifications, BoQs or PCI packs.
14. Awareness of CDM Regulations and designer responsibilities.
15. Experience using structural analysis software.
16. HNC/HND/BEng/BSc/MEng or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Desirable:
17. Progressing toward IEng/CEng.
18. Experience with AutoCAD, BIM or digital inspection tools.
19. Knowledge of NEC contracts.
20. Experience with modelling packages (e.g LUSAS, MIDAS).
