You will join the Cement and Packed Products Team at Aberthaw Cement Plant in Wales as part of the UK and Ireland Cement, Lime and Packed division.

You will contribute to the successful production of cementitious products and see the outputs of your work in the surrounding environment.
What you’ll be doing
* Gain a detailed understanding of cement engineering, manufacturing, and production via a dedicated Tarmac development programme and the CRH international technical programme.
* Have hands-on site experience, contribute to continuous plant performance, and address production and process bottlenecks for improved output, stability, and environmental performance.
* Primarily based at one plant in the first 3 years with opportunities to gain experience on other plants across the UK and Ireland or participate in an international assignment.
* Assist in tracking key process parameters and analyse data to optimise plant performance, making recommendations for modifications.
* Learn and apply safety policies, procedures and practices, and actively drive safety standards and improvements.
* Involve root cause analysis to understand costs and business impact from plant unplanned downtime.
* Contribute to important projects to improve how we work and deliver added value.
* Take pride in all work and stay determined to succeed.
