We are hiring for our client, a leading organisation delivering large-scale infrastructure and highway management solutions, for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their Belfast-based team. This Infrastructure Engineer role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the delivery of the DBFO1 Highway Operations & Maintenance contract, supporting asset life cycle management, major maintenance programmes, and a variety of additional works. The Role
* Oversee delivery of the Highway Operations & Maintenance contract
* Manage asset life cycle delivery, inspections, defect repairs and major maintenance works
* Plan operational activities using risk reduction and cost-efficiency methodology
* Ensure full compliance with H&S standards and company procedures
* Maintain ISO accreditations (9001, 14001, 45001) and National Highways Sector Schemes
* Use RMMS as the central network data system and generate work orders
* Develop annual work/inspection programmes
* Procure and manage works through internal teams and subcontractors
* Capture accurate cost data to support forecasting and budgeting
* Contribute to planning meetings and identify opportunities for improvement
The Person
* Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar discipline
* Previous experience in highways, infrastructure or asset maintenance
* Strong understanding of H&S requirements and highway work processes
* Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
* Computer literate, capable of working independently, strong negotiator
