Job Outline
We are recruiting a Service Engineer to join Spy to service and maintain intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems across London. This will suit an experienced security service engineer who is flexible and willing to handle multiple calls per day to residential or small/ medium commercial customers or schools.
 * Access control / Door entry systems
 * IP & Analogue CCTV systems with basic networking skills
 * Dual Com monitoring
 * Knowledge of other types of communication devices
 * Conventional & Wireless Intruder Alarm Systems
 * Knowledge of all major brands of Panels & App based systems
 * Maintenance of Emergency Lighting
 * Familiar with all NSI codes of practice, Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance of all above aspects.
 * Knowledge of all current industry standards, EN50131 PD6662, DD243, BS4737, BS8243
About you and your location:
You should be experienced in servicing and maintaining intruder alarms and ideally access control and CCTV systems too. You should have good communication skills as well as enthusiasm, self‑motivation and time‑management skills. A full manual UK driving license is essential.
Depending on your location you will be covering territory in West London and RH/GU postcodes or East London and Essex. However, flexibility to cover other areas of London is required.

Hours and Other details about the job:
Our standard hours are 7.75 onsite Monday – Friday starting at 8.30 am.
On call rota is between 1 in 5 to 1 in 9 weeks for which very competitive rates are paid.
The work requires working with ladders at height and can be physically demanding. A full UK manual driving license is required for the company vehicle. You will be travelling to various sites across your area and will need to be flexible.
NSSA Security Screening is required for this role.
