Working alongside the Head of Systems Engineering, you’ll help shape and grow our systems engineering capability within our vehicle business. Day-to-day you’ll be: Defining and managing system requirements with full traceability Providing technical guidance and mentoring to project teams Developing and maintaining system-level documentation Managing risk and implementing mitigation strategies to overcome technical challenges Leading systems engineering activities across the full project lifecycle This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and can be delivered from various locations including Bristol, Plymouth, Walsall and London alongside home working arrangements. Experience Required of the Senior Systems Engineer: Proven experience in systems engineering Experience leading systems engineering activities Automotive and/or defence industry background (advantageous) Qualifications for the Senior Systems Engineer: HNC / HND or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
