Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Professional electronics knowledge to HND/HNC + Short courses or equivalent training and experience
Desirable criteria
* Working towards Degree level or equivalent
Specific Skills & Knowledge & Competency
Essential criteria
* Able to work on own initiative
* IT literate - proficient in using word processing, spread sheets and databases
* Ability to maintain, repair and test electronic and mechanical devices
Desirable criteria
* Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
* Trained in manual handling procedures
Experience
Essential criteria
* Experience with Microsoft Office programmes and data input work
* Demonstrable experience using computerised equipment inventories, work service records & maintenance scheduling within a service centre environment
Desirable criteria
* Experience of working in an electronic/engineering workshop environment
* Undertaking a range of technical and customer related tasks
