As a Product Manager for Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), you will oversee the full lifecycle of security tooling, ensuring effective deployment, configuration, and compliance with security policies. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, vendors, and partners to align tools with operational needs and industry best practices. The role involves maintaining a prioritised engineering backlog using agile methodologies, identifying automation opportunities, and driving innovation within the product group.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
1. Gather and document requirements from operational service owners
2. Collaborate with Cyber Defence Engineering to design and deliver solutions
3. Manage and prioritise engineering backlog using agile methodologies
4. Oversee tooling lifecycle, including renewals and PoC/PoV activities
5. Manage vendor relationships and ensure best practice usage
6. Optimise tool configuration for maximum value
7. Track total cost of ownership in collaboration with Finance
8. Define technology roadmaps and identify tooling efficiencies
9. Drive innovation in cyber defence tooling and capabilities
10. Identify and implement automation opportunities
11. Line manage product analysts to support delivery
12. Coordinate with IT teams for enterprise-wide tool deployment
13. Maintain accurate documentation and team processes
14. Establish functional reporting and KPIs for delivery and improvement
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
15. Degree-level education or equivalent experience/training
16. Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, GCTI, GREM, CEH); Agile/PM certifications desirable
17. Extensive experience in cybersecurity, ideally in regulated environments
18. Hands-on experience with tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Wiz, and AttackIQ
19. Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, DPA 2018)
20. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
21. Decisive and discreet under pressure, with strong judgment
22. Self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise effectively in fast-paced settings
23. Experience in line management and team leadership is highly beneficial
