We are recruiting a Senior Marketing and Business Development Executive to support in the execution of the marketing and business development plans which will help the Construction Advisory & Disputes (CAD) team’s ambition to build our reputation and grow revenue in a high priority market.
This role involves supporting the creation and market introduction of CAD propositions, collaborating with various teams, and contributing to sector activities. As a representative of the Business Development and Marketing team, you will work with team members to deliver a variety of initiatives, including events, collateral updates, internal and external communications, and profile-raising campaigns. Additionally, you will gather and share market information to enhance engagement across these initiatives.
This role can be based out of any of our UK offices and our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
1. Proven experience at a Senior Marketing and BD level, or exceptional quality at an exec level, ideally within the legal industry or similar partnership environments
2. Able to lead on content creation for several outputs, including capability documents, client brochures, pitches, thought leadership campaigns and various social media channels.
3. Experienced in managing an established programme of client facing events, as well as taking the lead on establishing new events in the schedule, based on trends or hot topics.
4. Evidence of working as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders such as Partners – giving advice and guidance and being able to challenge where necessary.
5. Experience in the management of sector specific trade memberships - ensuring that we maximise membership opportunities.
6. Able to take genuine ownership of this role with minimal supervision – managing a complex and varied workload, keeping up to date with news and trends, and being an early adopter of new ways of working (tech, AI etc).
