Job overview The Critical Care and Surgery team at Peterborough City Hospital is looking for a dynamic Highly Specialist Team Lead Physiotherapist to join them in supporting the operational management of the team alongside undertaking an enhanced level of clinical caseload as a substantive member of the team. The ideal candidate will work alongside another Team lead, to ensure the delivery of human resourcing key performance indicators, as well as undertaking a complex patient caseload. Advert The Highly Specialist Therapist (Team Lead) for the Critical Care & Surgery Therapy Team provides day to day management of the staff within the team, overseeing the operational performance of the team and appropriate use of resources. They are responsible for the delivery of human resource key quality performance indicators. They will be responsible for deputising for the Critical Care & Surgery Therapy Service Lead as required. In addition to the managerial responsibilities the post holder will work using an enhanced level of clinical practice applying specialist knowledge and skills in the field of acute respiratory care, surgery or acute amputee care. They will assess and treat a specialist complex caseload of patients. The post holder will contribute to service development, audit and research to deliver on best practice evidence-based care in line with trust and national priorities in collaboration with the Critical Care & Surgery Therapy Service Lead and Highly Specialist Therapists. Interviews will be conducted in person to assess relevant skills effectively.
