Responsibilities
* Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage and train staff, ensuring a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels while minimising waste.
* Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to health standards.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure menu items are prepared to the highest quality standards.
* Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, striving for resolution that enhances guest satisfaction.
* Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Oversee events and social media/marketing.
Requirements
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with both staff and customers.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Proficiency in inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology is advantageous.
